About this race
The Littlehampton 10K starts and finishes on the seafront promenade in Littlehampton, West Sussex, on a fully road-closed course. The flat, fast route heads through residential Littlehampton before continuing on to the neighbouring town of Rustington and through Mewsbrook Park, taking in the resort's colourful beach huts and award-winning architecture, including the UK's longest bench, along the way. The surface is entirely tarmac road throughout, closed to traffic for the event, making it a genuinely quick course popular with both first-time 10K runners and those chasing a personal best. Now organised by the RUN-FEST team behind the Worthing 10K, the race is clearly marked with pacemakers on course, and every finisher receives a medal, goody bag and finisher's photo. Held since 2003, it continues to raise vital funds each year for Chestnut Tree House, the children's hospice serving Sussex and South East Hampshire.
