Abersoch 10K Trail

The Abersoch 10K Trail starts and finishes on the golden sands of Abersoch Beach, on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales. The route follows the coastal path past Tudwal's Islands and out to the stunning beach of Porth Ceiriad, before looping back round through the village of Bwlchtocyn and down onto Abersoch Beach for the finish. The course is genuine multi-terrain, mixing coastal tracks and trails with a little road and a stretch of beach, and climbs over 500 feet across the distance, so it's far from a flat beach jog. Water is available at the 5km mark, with bespoke medals for every finisher and trophy and product prizes for the top men and women. Part of the wider Abersoch Triple Crown series, the race finishes to live music, massages and a beach bar, with many runners cooling off with a swim in the bay afterwards.
