About this race
TrailFest Holdenby House 10K is a single lap of a purpose-built 10km trail loop within the private grounds of the Holdenby House estate in Northamptonshire, starting and finishing between the historic Basecourt Arches. The route crosses open fields on a mix of farm track and field edge, dips through sections of woodland, and takes in one noticeable hill along the way, with sweeping views over the rolling Northamptonshire countryside throughout. As a brand new venue for Big Bear Events in 2026, this course has never been used for running before, giving entrants a genuinely fresh trail to explore. Generous cut-off times keep the event accessible to a wide range of paces, from newcomers taking on their first trail 10K to more experienced runners using it as a stepping stone towards the longer half marathon, marathon and 50K options held on the same day.
