TrailFest Holdenby House Half Marathon

TrailFest Holdenby House Half Marathon covers just over two laps of a purpose-built 10km trail loop within the private grounds of the Holdenby House estate in Northamptonshire, starting and finishing between the historic Basecourt Arches. Each lap crosses open fields on a mix of farm track and field edge, dips through sections of woodland, and takes in one noticeable hill, with sweeping views over the rolling Northamptonshire countryside throughout. As a brand new venue for Big Bear Events in 2026, this course has never been used for running before, giving entrants a genuinely fresh trail to explore across the full 13.1 miles. Generous cut-off times keep the event accessible to newer trail runners as well as those chasing a personal best, with the lapped format offering a bit of everything: run your fastest, or bimble round with friends at whatever pace suits you.
