About this race
The Wizz Air Ealing Half Marathon starts and finishes in Walpole Park, taking runners on West London's only fully road-closed half marathon course. The single-lap, 13.1 mile route winds through Central Ealing and the surrounding residential streets of the borough, with no repeated laps, giving an uninterrupted journey through West London before returning to the park. The course is predominantly flat with gentle undulations, run entirely on closed tarmac roads with UK Athletics measurement and chip timing throughout. What sets the event apart is its atmosphere, with over 30,000 spectators lining the streets and 700 volunteers supporting runners, giving rise to the event's famous #EalingFeeling. Walpole Park hosts a lively race village with food, live music and entertainment. Newly title sponsored by Wizz Air as part of the wider WIZZ Run Series, it has been voted the UK's best half marathon for three consecutive years and supports the not-for-profit We Run Ealing.
