Larking Gowen Ipswich Half Marathon

The Larking Gowen Ipswich Half Marathon starts and finishes at Portman Road Stadium, home of Ipswich Town FC. The route heads down Duke Street and through the historic Ipswich Waterfront before following Cliff Lane around the River Orwell, taking in scenic riverside views and passing Holywells Park along the way. From there the course continues along Wherstead Road and back via Grafton Way for the finish inside the stadium grounds. The surface is entirely closed-road tarmac, with some hills on the outward stretch and open, often windy sections along the river on the return leg. Organised by Run For All in partnership with Larking Gowen, the race supports a range of official charity partners including St Elizabeth Hospice and Suffolk Mind, alongside runners' own chosen causes. Every finisher receives chip timing, a goody bag and medal, with a big crowd and stadium finish capping off the day.
