ASK Physio 5K

The ASK Physio 5K starts and finishes at the bandstand area of Fairlands Valley Park, next to the town's parkrun start. Introduced in 2025 as a standalone race alongside the longer 10K, the out-and-back course is entirely road-free, following Stevenage's network of traffic-free cycle tracks and paths. The surface is tarmac throughout, with some gentle undulation reflecting the town's cycleway network rather than a completely flat profile. Open to runners aged 12 and over, it's designed as an accessible option for newer runners or those keen to test their speed over a shorter distance, and can be combined with the Menzies 10K in the Combi Challenge. Officially measured under an ARC permit and organised by Stevenage Striders, the race celebrates sponsor ASK Physio, a Stevenage-based physiotherapy and hydrotherapy specialist, with every finisher receiving a specially designed medal and free cake at the vibrant event village finish.
