Menzies Stevenage 10K

The Menzies Stevenage 10K starts and finishes at the bandstand area of Fairlands Valley Park, next to the town's parkrun start. Redesigned in 2025, the out-and-back course is entirely road-free, running instead along Stevenage's network of traffic-free cycle tracks and paths, giving a flatter, smoother profile than the previous route. The surface is tarmac throughout, and while described as flatter and faster, it retains some gentle undulation typical of the town's cycleway network rather than being pancake flat. Runners can combine it with the ASK Physio 5K in the Combi Challenge for extra distance. Officially measured under an ARC permit, it's organised by Stevenage Striders as the event's flagship race, celebrating headline sponsor Menzies accountants. A vibrant event village offers food, stalls and live music at the finish, with every finisher receiving a specially designed t-shirt and medal, plus free cake at the finish line.
