Middlesbrough 10K

The Middlesbrough 10K starts and finishes at Centre Square in the heart of Middlesbrough, running a flat, fast, traffic-free route through the town. The course takes in the town's landmark buildings before heading out towards the Riverside Stadium, home of Middlesbrough Football Club, where runners are cheered on by the town's passionate Boro Red Army supporters. The route is entirely on closed roads, giving a genuinely quick profile well suited to chasing a personal best, with route signage and marshals positioned at key junctions throughout. Formerly known as the Tees Pride 10K, the race relaunches in 2026 under new organisers Events of the North, run by Steve Cram and Allison Curbishley, as part of the wider Middlesbrough Runs weekend alongside the Ali Brownlee 5K. Finishers receive electronic chip timing, a medal and goody bag, with water and a celebratory Teesside parmo waiting at the end.
