Hardmoors 26.2 Roseberry 10k

The Hardmoors 26.2 Roseberry 10k is a circular, self-navigated route starting and finishing at the Sea Cadets Hall in Guisborough, North Yorkshire, offering the shortest introduction to this North York Moors trail series. The course circles part of the moorland around the distinctive summit of Roseberry Topping, on genuinely off-road trail rather than sheltered woodland paths. There is no compulsory kit list for the 10k, though organisers strongly recommend at least a waterproof jacket, hat and gloves given how exposed the terrain can be. As with all Hardmoors 26.2 races, the route is not taped or signed beyond the trickiest sections, so runners navigate using a downloadable race description and course map rather than course markers. Marshals are positioned at road crossings, with a foot sweeper covering the back of the field, making this an accessible taste of proper North Yorkshire moorland trail running.
