About this race
The Oysho Royal Parks Half Marathon starts and finishes in Hyde Park, London, following a route refreshed in 2025 with a brand new finish line. The 13.1 mile course runs on fully closed roads through four of the capital's Royal Parks: Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James's Park and Kensington Gardens, taking in landmark sights including Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye along the way. Runners now finish in front of the Albert Memorial and the Royal Albert Hall, previously just a sign of the closing stretch but now the backdrop to the finish line itself. The surface is entirely tarmac and the course is flat, making it accessible to first-timers as well as those chasing a personal best. Established in 2008 by The Royal Parks charity, the event has raised over £70 million for more than 1,200 UK charities and draws over 16,000 runners each October.
