About this race

The Andover Trail Marathon starts and finishes in Enham Alamein, just outside Andover in Hampshire, following the Testway through the Test Valley. The 26.2 mile route climbs up to Coombe Gibbet, the highest point in Hampshire, before winding back through the picturesque Conholt estate and a series of charming villages on the return to Enham. The terrain is genuine off-road trail throughout, mixing countryside tracks, woodland paths and rural farmland, with a maximum elevation of around 280 metres giving thigh-burning climbs balanced by long, fast downhill sections. Three fully stocked aid stations support runners along the route, with course marshals at major crossings and full medical cover. A Military Cup category allows teams of four serving personnel to compete for silverware. With generous cut-off times and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, it's a fundraiser for the Enham Trust and a proper test for seasoned trail runners.
