About this race
Run Henham 10km takes place entirely within the private grounds of Henham Park in Suffolk, close to Southwold and best known as the home of the Latitude Festival. The single-lap course starts and finishes near the park's lake, winding through the estate's parkland and woodland on light trail paths rather than roads. Runners get a rare look at the grounds in their autumn colours, away from public access for the rest of the year. The terrain is gentle and largely flat, on well-maintained trail surfaces suitable for road shoes as well as trail shoes, with a water station at the halfway point. Marshals and first aiders are positioned around the course throughout. Held in mid-November, the race attracts both serious 10km runners and those taking part for charity fundraising, with entrants able to raise money for EPIC Norfolk's dementia support work or one of its partner charities.
