Marlow 7 7mile

The Marlow 7 starts on the historic High Street in Marlow, close to Marlow Bridge, and finishes at Marlow Sports Club in Pound Lane. Sharing much of its early section with the Half Marathon, the seven-mile course heads out onto virtually traffic-free country lanes in the Chiltern Hills before looping back towards the town on a shorter version of the same undulating rural route. The surface is entirely road throughout, with a series of gentle rolling climbs and descents rather than one major hill, giving a genuinely testing but manageable profile for a race of this distance. The route passes through attractive Buckinghamshire countryside on quiet lanes away from traffic. Organised by Marlow Striders, the course is fully signed, marshalled and mile-marked, with drink stations positioned along the way and a warm reception awaiting finishers back at the Sports Club.
